Artist's resume
I photographed archival and modern video footage of Callas, converting still images to slides, then reprinting slide images to oversized
black and white prints. These facial images, representing the various phases of the personal life of Madame Callas, are the result.

Maria Callas III
Late, late at night Maria thought about another life, a life around
a kitchen table with a family - children - without agents. All else
blanked out on stage. Her past and her future stopped, the sound
not from voice but sound from her soul, became all. The black
dress a shroud."
